Senior Youth Worship: This Sunday is one of my favorite days of the year at South church, as it is the day our High School youth offer the worship service to our congregation. There will be classes as usual for our younger children through 4th grade, but 5th-8th graders are asked to attend worship (either service) so they can share in this special experience and begin to see where they will be in a few years!
Pancake Breakfast! Sunday, March 20th. We’ve moved our annual pancake breakfast FUNdraiser to Palm Sunday this year, so mark your calendars. This is a really fun morning to come to church early and share a breakfast table with other South Church friends! We are in need of food Donations (bacon, syrup, fruit salads, eggs, etc.), and Volunteers– click on the links to help make this event happen! All proceeds will help to support our Senior youth service trip to Appalachia in June of this year.
Easter Sunday & Egg Hunt- March 27th: Once again, Easter Sunday will be an multi-generational service, and we will be again offering and Easter egg hunt immediately following each of our worship services on that day. The egg hunt will be held outside unless weather prevents it, and children will be split into age groups so that fun can be had by all! We are asking folks to bring filled Easter eggs to the church anytime over then next few weeks to help make this event happen! Children with allergies: We will have a trade-in basket in the office with allergy safe alternatives, so all can participate in the hunt!
