Youth Programming ~8th-12th grade

“I want to think again of dangerous and noble things.
I want to be light and frolicsome.
I want to be improbable, beautiful and afraid of nothing,
as though I had wings.”
― Mary Oliver

Coming of Age~ 8th Grade

Coming of Age is a rite of passage program.  Its purpose is to support participants as they make the transition from childhood to youth. Over the course of the year they will work to identify and articulate their core values and discover their power to forge a meaningful and joy-filled life. Together, the CoA group build lasting connections with each other and with the community as a whole.

Senior Youth

The South Church Senior Youth program strives to be a place of community, service, and empowerment.  In a typical year, we develop community with weekly meetings, field trips, overnights and service learning projects. This year will be a little different as we navigate the Covid19 outbreak, still, Senior Youth will continue to gives our teens an opportunity to foster their spiritual selves and make meaningful connections with other youth through shared experience.
