| We know many of you have been carrying a lot this week with midterms, other school demands, and maybe the news too. We hope you’re finding moments of rest and joy and taking good care of yourselves. It’s a lot—and we see all that you’re holding.Here are your Youth Group updates for this week:This Sunday, 1/25 We’ll be preparing for the Feb 1 youth-led worship. If you’re writing or speaking in worship, please bring your draft.If you’re working digitally, bring your device.Group Song for Worship Jonny will be helping us lead a group song during worship, which will be really fun. Even if you haven’t helped plan worship yet, please still come—we want you there!  Happy New Year, Youth & Parents! We hope you’ve had some good rest and play over the holidays. Here are a few important youth group things for you to know: ––High School OWL starts TOMORROW, Jan 4th, 2:00-3:30. This is for youth in grades 10, 11, 12. If you missed signing up and would like to, then text Jen DB between now and noon tomorrow. The initials of the youth we’re expecting at this point are: AL, NM, MM, DM, IY, OD, MS, LMD, AB. I need your completed permission form before class starts. Payment can be made by check or online. If you thought you were signed up but not listed, let us know asap. Here is the full schedule for the class: OWL 10-12 Schedule —New Orleans Trip Commitment Form and $300 deposit are due tomorrow,Jan 4th. For anyone who is planning to travel with us in June, we need completed trip commitment forms and a $300 deposit so we can start booking airfare, lodging, van rentals, etc. If the financial part is a burden, you can request scholarship on the form. Deposit can be paid online (please cover the cc fee) or by check make out to “South Church” and then write “SY Trip” on the memo line. —Parents–please fill out the RE registration form if you haven’t yet. We need this done each program year, and it only takes a few minutes. —We will meet as usual tomorrow, 4:00-5:30 at 73 Court St. We will start to talk about planning for the Senior Youth worship, which will happen on Feb 1! Everyone is invited to participate in ways that feel right for them, whether it’s speaking, singing, or behind the scenes. Tomorrow is a really good day to show up and decide which type of support you want to offer. –Mark your calendars for the OVERNIGHT on Saturday, Jan 31st, which will roll right into youth-led worship the next morning. It’s one of our highlights of the year 🙂 –There is NO LEFTOVER CHILI SALE tomorrow because we sold out on NYE! So if you signed up to help with that, you can sleep in. See you tomorrow!
